Titles on a blank screen. This is usually shown with a black background and a white text, it is used as it is low budget and it is simplistic. An example of this is the film; Psycho.
Titles on still images. It hints at the tone or genre of the film and it incorporates text with visual images, combining different types of media to make the background. An example of this is the film; Wimbledon.
I liked this one the most because I found it quite simplistic and it showcased the genre and tone of the film as it showed the costumes of each of the characters and it implied at the battles that the characters would face, the costumes was damaged.
Titles over Moving Images. It incorporates credit titles with moving image and it can also include sound such as sound effects, the soundtrack or narration. This introduces the storyline or tone to the audience and it offers a metaphor. An example of this is Rear Window.
Titles using Animation or Motion. This requires high usage of digital technology and stylized editing. An example of this is Casino Royale.
