The key plot and idea introduced in the title sequence of Gone girl is a husband thst is almost obsessed with his wife. 

The storyline was introduced in the beginning till end of the title seequence of the husband and wife together then him by himself.

The wife was introduced first,  then him. This shows she plays a big role in the story.

The social group presented is wealthy people with the ABC scale of B, they are presented in a good way as they have a family and house. However, a bad way as they are presented in a smart/sinister way. Talking about stroking his wife's skull which is quite unusable.
