Kyle Cooper- what makes a good title sequence

What makes a good title sequence?

Kyle Cooper is accredited with revitalised a title sequence, The dawn of the dead, Batman and Superman.

What makes a good title sequence is how its sequenced properly emplaced, creates excitement

The importance about the font used in film Seven is it creates a specific effect.

Deadzone:
  • Simple typography

To kill a Mocking Bird:
  •  Shows the obsession, marble distort background
  • Form of horizontal line, every disintegrated
Kyle Cooper says "story based" main title sequence means specific back story, clear metaphor that relates to film

Problems that a studio might face after an audience test screening is that they don't have enough money, and they don't understand the scene, used to prolong/put in information

A 2 and a half minutes of the title sequence become important for the studio because they contribute to changing the film, giving information, can spend less money, extra scene, can communicate element of the film.
