Remake activity: Planning and Filming Evidence (Adriana)

For Group 2's remake activity, we chose to do the film The Breakfast Club.

We chose this because it had varies different scenes which required different shot types. For example mid shots, close ups and wide shots. We remade almost all of the shots, this added up to almost 2 minutes of the scene. Anita done the story board whilst Jemima prepared the props and Adriana wrote done all the shot types in order. We all had a role to play.

The filming was very fun as we got to go around the school and find different location that was the same or similar to the location in The Breakfast Club, this is not that hard as the movie is set in a High school, therefore we had most of the props and elements.
The things we were unable to record were a stage as the drama hall was closed and also a trophy cabinet as we couldn't locate one in the school. Other than that we improved to do the other hard locations like a gym locker room, whereby Adriana took her shoes off (which were Nike running shoes) and put them in front of the locker and Anita hung her jacket on a locker. This resembled a gym locker room.

The props used were clothes, paper, pens, a white board, and a toy car. In order to make the toy car look quite realistic, we zoomed in on the car to make it cover the whole screen to allow it to look in artificial. We used the whiteboard to do the graffiti writing in stead of marking the school walls which would be very unprofessional.

Anita had done the storyboard which helped us know exactly what each scene was about and what components that we needed. In an addition to this, Adrianna and Jemima had to learn the dialogue from when each of the characters were talking to their parents.
